隈 研吾氏は、日本人として世界で活躍する最も才能ある建築家だ。
そして、東京大学教授として教える立場でもあるのだが、学生からも熱烈的なる支持を受けている。
20年ぐらいの交友なのだが、私は、常に尊敬し続けてきた。
金沢美術工芸大学での特別講義のために金沢に来られたのだが、その前に我家を訪ねてくれた。
彼は茶道や陶芸にも造詣が深く、これからも様々な場面で私を導いてくれることだろう。
Mr. Kuma Kengo is an architect having talent most active part as a Japanese
in the world. And it is a situation to show as a professor at Tokyo University,
also he was respected by many students.
We were the friend of around 20 years, but I continued always respecting him.
He was invited to Kanazawa for a special lecture in Kanazawa College of Arts,
so he just visited my home first.
He has a profound knowledge of tea ceremony and ceramic art,
and it will be to lead me in various scenes from now on.
