私の大きなスーツケースは、愛着ある旅の仲間でもある。

その大きなスーツケースは、今回の中国滞在のために、金沢から講演で訪れた鹿児島まで持参しなければならなかった。
しかし、小松から福岡までのフライトで完璧なまでに壊れてしまった。
福岡空港での若い女性職員の対応は、目の前で誰かと電話で話しながら、壊れたことの責任の取り方に終始だけしており、
時間が刻一刻と過ぎていった。
福岡空港から博多駅まで移動して、九州新幹線への乗り換えなければならなかった。
別のものを借りれるのか？どこかで新しいものを買えるのか？
答えることができなかった。私は、怒りを堪えてその場を立ち去った。
キャリアーとハンドルが壊れたスーツケースを運ぶのは至難の技だった。
空港のカートに載せて、エレベーター、エスカレーターに乗り駅まで辿り着いた。
地下鉄で博多駅に到着。九州新幹線の連絡通路では、エスカレーターに乗れたが、最後の３０段ほどが昇り階段だった。
新幹線の車内は、収納する場所は用意はされていなかった。
鹿児島では、器用な仲間がテープなどを用いて応急処置をしてくれたのだが、自らが大きな怪我をしたような心境でもあった。

夜、講演を終えて鹿児島空港から東京羽田空港に到着。
羽田空港でスーツケースを買うつもりだった。
国際線ターミナルでは、スーツケースを扱う店はほとんどなかった。
私は、当然のことのように国際線ターミナルにあるものと思い込んでいた。
諦めて、臨時預かり場所で荷物を保管する。

朝、再び羽田空港から北京空港に到着。入国手続きを終えてしばらく歩くと、免税店がある。
ひとつだけ置かれた、それもあまり好きなデザインではないサムソナイトのスーツケースを買った。
その日、夕食を終えて近くのデパートに立ち寄った。スーツケースのコーナーがありサムソナイトもたくさん扱われていた。
空港で買ったものより、デザイン的で新しいものがあった。
値段を見ると５分の１の安さなのだ！何というこだ！本物だろうか？
思わず買ってしまった！私は一度に大きな新品のスーツケースを２個も買ってしまった。
このやるせない気持、理解してもらえるだろうか？
時間が無い中での福岡空港での、航空会社職員の対応。
地下鉄、新幹線、乗客への足りない思いやり。
もし、私が外国人であったら？車椅子での移動だったら？
羽田空港から、世界へ、まるで国内線のように行けるようになった。
しかし、ハブ機能の弱い国内空港でのサービス、身障者への対応、まだまだ国際水準ではないとの指摘を受けているのも事実だ。
スーツケースが壊れただけのことで、多くを学んだ気がする。
My big suitcase is a partner of my travelling.

I had to bring the big suitcase for this stay in China from Kanazawa to Kagoshima that I visited by a lecture.
However, it has been completly broken by flights from Komatsu to Fukuoka.
I could hold the correspondence of a young woman in Fukuokakuko in how to get responsibility of having
been broken from beginning to end while talking with somebody on the telephone in frontof me,
and time was over every moment.
Move from Fukuokakuko to Hakata Station; and to the Kyushu Shinkansen had to transfer.
Can I borrow a different thing?
Can I buy a new thing somewhere?
She was not able to answer.
I bore anger and left the place.
It was the most difficult skill to carry the suitcase that a carrier and a steering wheel were broken.
I was in tune with the cart of the airport and arrived at an elevator, an escalator to the riding station.
It is come by a subway by the Hakata station.
In the catwalk of the Kyushu Shinkansen,
I was able to step on the escalator, but approximately 30 steps of the last were up stairs.
In the inside of car of the Shinkansen, the place to receive was not prepared for.In Kagoshima,
a skillful friend took an emergency measure using tape, but oneself was a big hurt state of mind.

I finish a lecture and arrive at Haneda Airport, Tokyo at night from Kagoshima Airport.
I intended to buy a suitcase in Haneda Airport.
In the international airline terminal, there were few shops which handled a suitcase.
I was convinced that there was me at the international airline terminal like a matter of course.I give it
up and keep a load at a temporary custody place.

It is arrived at the Beijing Airport again I went in the morning to Haneda Airport.
When I finish entry formalities and walk for a while, there is a duty-free shop.
It which only one was put bought a suitcase of Samsonite which was not many designs to like.
I finished supper on that day and dropped in at the department store nearby.
There was the corner of the suitcase, and a lot of Samsonite was treated, too.
There was the thing which I was like a design than the thing which I bought at an airport, and was new.
When it watches a price, it is a one-fifth inexpensiveness!
?????? Will it be genuine?I have bought it unintentionally!
I have bought two suitcases of the big new article at a time.
Will you understand this disconsolate feeling?
The correspondence of the staff of airline in Fukuokakuko while there is not time.
A subway, the Shinkansen, the insufficient consideration to a passenger.

We got possible to totally go from Haneda Airport to the world like a domestic airline.
However, the thing receiving the service at the weak domestic airport of the hub function,
the correspondence to a handicapped person, indication that it is not an international standard still more is a fact.
A suitcase was broken and feels like having learned most.
