大樋美術館は、裏千家鵬雲斉大宗匠（当時家元）様夫妻、坐忘斎若宗匠（当時若宗匠）様夫妻、伊住宗晃宗匠様夫妻、
石川県知事、金沢市長などが参列され、平成2年9月に開館した。
それは祖父九代長左衛門、父十代長左衛門、そして私の夢でもあった。
しかし、開館してわずか３ヶ月にも満たない12月29日、業者の施工ミスが原因となって我家の武家屋敷は全焼してしまった。
その時、我家において大切なものが多く消えてしまった。
祖父が残した数々の作品や書物、父も日本芸術院賞を受賞した際の天皇陛下直筆の表彰状やそれまでの作品などを消失してしまった。
その日の夜、父が愕然として立っていた姿を忘れることはない。私も幼い頃からの写真など想い出は消えてしまった。
しかし、両親が火と煙の中から救出されたことは何にも代え難いことであった。施行業者に悪意があったわけでもない。
そして、様々な人々から賜った温情に、我々は今もって忘れることはない。
そして、我家の武家屋敷や茶室は再興し、20年が過ぎた。
火事に堪えた、庭にある御神木である「折鶴の松」も健在だ。
その間、我々には絶えることができない悲しい出来事もあれば、慶事もあった。
20年を記念して、明日からは大樋茶会が開かれる。
父、弟、そして私が、大樋美術館での「茶碗の創成から今日まで」展、
芳土庵での茶席の道具などの全ての準備が終えたのは夜中となっていた。
It was honored to attend with Hounsai Urasenke Great Tea Master, Zabosai Urasenke Next Head tea Master,
Izumi Sokou Urasenke Tea Master, Governor Ishikawa, Mayor Kanazawa opened the
Ohi Museum in September, 1990.
It was a dream of grandfather (9th Chozaemon), father (10th chozaemon) and me.
However, after 3 month later from opened the museum, the samurai residence of my home has been fired
for a construction error of the supplier on December 29.
A lot of important things have disappeared then in my home.
We lost grand fathers’ work and his books, fathers’ Japanese Art Academy Award
( testimonial of the His Majesty the Emperor handwriting).
I never forget that father stood figuer at night of the day.
The memory including the photograph from the time when I was young has faded away.
However, it was to be hard to change into anything that parents were rescued from fire and smoke.
It was not malicious for an enforcement supplier.
And, in the sympathy that various people gave, we last now and do not forget it.
And a samurai residence and the tea-ceremony room of my home revived,
and 20 years passed.”The pine tree in our garden “folded paper crane” which is the sacred
which endured a fire is in good health.
Meanwhile, there was the auspicious things if there was the sad things that could not die out to us.
We memorialize 20 years, and a great eaves trough tea ceremony is held from tomorrow.
Father, younger brother and I checked and prepaired everything was over it was midnight.
