七草粥式を奉仕する大友佐俊氏
金沢尾山神社で朝7時に始まる新年七種祝儀に列席した。
古くから病魔退散と縁起を祈る七種の行事だ。
日本では延喜11年（991年）に、この行事が行われていた記録も残っている。
前田家18代当主•前田利祐氏の主宰で厳粛に行われるのだが、早朝で雪、そして零下の気温で行われたのだが、
新年として気持も新たなものとなったが、修行のようでもあった。

I attended the meeting of the morning gruel which began in Kanazawa Oyama-jinja Shrine at 7:00 a.m.It is seven
kinds of herbes to pray for illness breaking up and an omen for a long time.
The record that this event was carried out for Engi era 11 years (991) is left in Japan.
It was hosted by 18th present head of a household * Toshiyasu Maeda,
but it was performed at temperature of snow and the 0 degree in the morning,
but the feeling became new as the New Year, too, but it seemed to be ascetic practices.
