彼がデザインしたカップ

私の長男である祐希は、東京藝術大学建築科で学んでいる。
そんな彼がカップデザインの依頼を浅田屋さんから受けた。
昨年末、確かに我家は紙コップだらけになった。彼とはあまり話す機会もないので、意味が解らなかった。
彼が高校時代のある日「後を継ぐけどどうしたらいい？」そんなことを考えているとは、知りもしなかった。
「いや、継がなくていいよ」辛かったが、冷たい一言を返した。
彼は更に聞いた「パパ、自分はどうだったの？？？？？？」私は答えれなかった。
しかし、親として「これからは、建築やデザインを学んだ人が陶芸を真剣にやるべきだ」私の予言を伝えた。
それは、今も正しいか解らない。
金沢の料亭「浅田屋」は350年続く老舗旅館としても有名だ。
訪れたVIPでも限られた部屋数しかなく、なかなか宿泊することもできない。
グループとして、ホテルや多くのレストランも経営している。我家とは有り難いことに長い御付き合いが続いている。
長男は、辛い浪人生活を経て東京藝術大学で学んでいる。学生時代を謳歌した私だが、父として私は子供に厳しい。
褒めたこともなければ怒ってばかりなのかもしれない。両親は私に言う「お前は、これまで親にどれだけ迷惑をかけたのか？」
長男はこれから売り出される、「六角堂プリン」そのカップデザインを手掛けたことは忘れることは無いだろう。
有り難い話しだと思う。浅田屋さんに感謝したい。

The first project of eldest son Yuki
My eldest son is learning at Tokyo University of Arts in architecture department.
Such he received the request of the cup design from Asada-ya.
My home became surely full of paper cups at the end of last year.
Because an opportunity to talk with him did not have it either, I did not understand that meaning.
One day of his high school days though “inherit the back, what do I?”
I did not know that he thought about such a thing.
”No, you shpuld not inherit it, and I returned a cold word.
He asked me again; how “about daddy, oneself?”I was not able to answer.
However, I conveyed a prediction of earnest the person who learned a architecture or a design
from now on by ceramic art” as a parent.
I do not sure whether it is right or not.
The restaurant “Asada-ya” of Kanazawa is famous as a long-established inn style hotel lasting 350 years.
Even the VIP who came to Kanazawa has only the number of the limited rooms and cannot readily stay.
As a group, they run a hotel and many restaurants.he acquaintance that
fortunately is long continues with my family.
The eldest son learns at university after hard unemployed person life.
I enjoyed school days, but I am strict with a child as father.
If it has not praised it either, I am angry, and it may be a thing.
The parents say it to me; “how long did you trouble a parent till now?”
The eldest son will not forget to have dealt with the “Asadaya pudding” cup design put on sale from now on.
That it is the wonderful story for him and it is thankful project from Asadaya Group.
