朝、米国•バッファロー市（ニューヨーク州）代表団が訪れてくれた。
金沢市とは姉妹都市を締結して50周年を迎え、金沢市祭「百万石祭り」に合わせて来日している。
代表団は美術、工芸に精通する方々ばかりで、有意義な意見交換をすることもできた。
団長である道井孝子さんは、バファロー市在住者として金沢市との姉妹都市委員会会長を務められていて、
すでに20年以上の御付き合いだ。
隣町であるロチェスター工科大学で私は客員教授を務めていることもあって、
バッファロー市の方々とは、共通する話題も多く親近感がある。

It was present of Paper Buffalo,it was made by map of Buffalo.
Buffalo City (New York State USA) delegation visited to my house in the morning.
We conclude a sister city with Buffalo City and reach the 50th anniversary
and visit Kanazawa-city festival “Hyakumangoku festival”.
The delegation was able to give a significant exchange of opinions only in the
people who were familiar with arts.
As for the Takako Michii who is the head, it is acted as Chairperson at sister
city Committee with Kanazawa-city as Buffalo City resident, and it is already acquaintance
more than 20 years.I am a guest professor in Rochester institute
of Tecknology which is a neighboring town, and, with the various places of Buffalo City,
there is a common topic a lot of sense of closeness.
