清州市文化産業振興財団代表理事長ビヨン・ヴァンソフ氏をはじめとして 6 名の表敬を受けた。
昨年は、彼らが主催する清州ビエンナーレに招かれ講演をさせていただいた。
今後、彼らが目指すユネスコ創造都市として、金沢との文化交流を深めたいとの要望も受けた。
清州市には 150 人ほどの工芸協会があるそうで、金沢市工芸協会との交流なども模索できるのかもしれない。
I received a courtesy call from six people, including Mr. Byeun Geangsub President of the Cheongju
Cultural Industry Promotion Foundation.
Last year, I was invited to give a lecture at the Cheongju Biennale organized by them. I also received
a request to deepen cultural exchange with Kanazawa as a UNESCO Creative City, which is their future goal.
I was told that there is a crafts association of about 150 people in Cheongju, and perhaps they could explore
exchanges with the Kanazawa Crafts Council.
