そして、60歳を迎えられた。
それを記念してパネルディスカションと誕生パーティが催された。
初代、直島地中美術館館長。そしてその後に金沢21世紀美術館館長。今は東京藝術大学美術館館長も兼務されている。
金沢という街に、この秋元雄史氏の存在の意義は大きい。世界中に活躍の場は益々拡がっていくことだろう。
しかし、あくまで金沢を拠点として頂くことを市民は望んでいることも忘れないでほしい。
私もこんな偉大な人に出会ったことで、人生を導いて頂いている。それは、私だけでなく多くの方々も同じ心境だろう。

It’ll be that a place by the achievement is being spread in all over the world increasingly.
But I also hope and wish of citizen that he feels Kanazawa as a foothold thoroughly.
My life is changed by met such great person, too. Many persons as well as same feelings I maybe shared.
