祝いの茶事

金沢の有名料亭「つる幸」
主人である河田三朗氏は加賀料理の達人で、書画骨董にも精通された大茶人だ。
活躍する料理人でこの主人から学んだ人も多い。

 

茶事に招かれた。
茶席には、数々の名品と大樋焼歴代長左衞門の作品。

 

85歳の主人が、89歳になろうとする父と襲名したばかりの私に言われた。
「茶でお祝いをお告げしたかったのです」

 

静かで決して多くを語らない。
そんな人格者との有り難い運命の出逢いを感じた瞬間だった。

Famous Japanese-style restaurant in Kanazawa “Tsurukou”i owned by Mr. Saburo Kawada.
He is a master of Kaga style food and is a great master of Japanese tea with deep understanding of arts.
There are a lot of people who learned by him.

 

It was invited by this master to for Japanese tea ceremony.
The work which are many masterpieces and Ohi generations.
It means that successive generations Cozaemon in a tea-ceremony room.

 

He is 85-year-old man and said to my father who tries to be 89 years old and me who has just succeeded.
”I wanted to tell you of a celebration for tea.”

 

It was quiet and was the moment an encounter of destiny which I felt from him with not to talk much.
