安倍昭恵内閣総理大臣夫人、コシノジュンコ氏、マンリオ・カデロ サンマリノ共和国大使などが来賓として、
新渡戸稲造のシンポジウムが催された。私も実行委員として参加させて頂いた。
このような方々が集まったことには大きな理由がある。
実は、友人、新渡戸常憲氏が困っている。彼は8代目新渡戸家当主。
そして、新渡戸稲造をはじめとした新渡戸家の足跡を伝える十和田市立新渡戸記念館の館長。
ところが近年、十和田市は一方的に廃館してしまったのだ。数々の蔵書、遺品はどうなるのだろうか？
私は政治的なことには関与出来ない。しかし、何とか新渡戸記念館と新渡戸家を救えないだろうか？
新渡戸稲造の唱えた「武士道」が泣いている。
紛争を「武士道」で解決できれば、画期的なこととなるのだが、、、、、、
皆で友人を助けたい！！！

Inazo Nitobe’s symposium was held.
Mrs.Abe Akie (wife of Prime Minister Abe Shinzo) . Ms. KOSHINOJUNKO and some foreign ambassador of Republic of
San Marino Manlio Cadelo had a speech as a special guest, and I participated as an execution commissioner.
There is a reason that such persons gathered.
Well, my friend Mr. Tsunenori Nitobe is in trouble.
He’s 8 generation Nitobe family head. And he was a director in Towada municipal Nitobe memorial museum.
But, Towada-shi has made the abandoned museum by one-sided in recent years.
I do not know about politics. However I am very much worry,
what happens to many collections of books and momentos?
Can’t Nitobe memorial hall and Nitobe family be rescued somehow?
The “Japanese chivalry Bushido” Inazo Nitobe raised is crying.
When trouble can be settled by “Japanese chivalry”, it’ll be remarkable, but 、、、、、、.
