「隆茗会」は加賀藩に仕えた裏千家4代 仙叟宗室居士の遺徳を偲ぶ会で、
金沢の仙叟居士の菩提寺である月心寺にて毎月懸釜が行われてきている。
仙叟からの導きによってはじまった大樋焼。
11代当主として席主を務め、その恩恵に感謝を捧げた茶会には、全国から350人の参列者があった。
朝7時から夕方5時まで14席の茶席を座り通したことで、私の膝は完全にロック状態だったが、
このような機会を得たこと、そして多くの客人に喜んでいただけたことで、心地良い疲れでもあった。
The “Ryumeikai” is a memorial service for the legacy of the fourth generation Urasenke master Senso,
who served the Kaga clan (Ishikawa Prefecture), and has been held at Gesshinji-temple in Kanazawa.
Ohi Chozaemon was started under the guidance of Senso since 1666.
As the 11th head of the my family, I served as the host of tea ceremonies and 350 people from all over
Japan attended the tea ceremony to express my gratitude for the blessings I had bestowed upon them.
My knees were in lockdown after sitting through 14 tea ceremonies from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
but it was a pleasant exhaustion to have had this opportunity and to have pleased so many guests.
