パネルディスカッションや茶会に招かれただが、新渡戸稲造が武士道の精神性を世界に広め、李登輝台湾元総統がそれを現代に解題した。それを直接手渡された私には、この二人の考えを世界に拡めていく命題があることを述べさせていただいた。
Director Tsunenori Nitobe, a descendant of Inazo Nitobe, is a friend of 30 years and is like a younger brother to me. He risked his life to renovate this memorial hall.
I was invited to a panel discussion and a tea ceremony, where it was explained that Inazo Nitobe spread the spirit of Bushido to the world, and former Taiwanese President Lee Teng-hui interpreted it for the modern era. Having been personally entrusted with this legacy, I stated that I am committed to spreading the ideas of these two men throughout the world.
