オブジェ「Prayer Vessel（祈器）」縦2・48M、幅2・15M、奥行き2・15Mは昨年の大阪・関西万博で展示された作品。能登半島地震からの復興への祈りを込め、手と手を合わせたかたちでもあり、地球のような球形にも見えるデザインとなっている。国連に加盟する国の数と同じ196枚のアルミニウム板でできており、万博ではアメリカとフランスのパビリオン付近の「光の広場」で展示された。

The sculpture “Prayer Vessel” measures 2.48 meters in height, 2.15 meters in width, and 2.15 meters in depth; it was exhibited at last year’s Osaka-Kansai Expo. Infused with prayers for recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, the design resembles hands clasped in prayer while also taking on a spherical shape reminiscent of the Earth. It is composed of 196 aluminum plates—one for each UN member state—and was displayed at the Expo in the “Plaza of Light” near the U.S. and French pavilions.
