裏千家四代仙叟と大樋初代長左衞門との絆のおかげで我家の歴史がある。それも360年の節目を迎えている。今年もその二人の台座図を床に飾り、変わらぬ恩恵への感謝の茶会。
それを祖父や父が引き継ぎ、今、私が存在していることになる。伝統と伝承、その違いが見えるまで、彼らを超えることはできないのかもしれない。
Our family’s history exists thanks to the bond between the fourth generation of Urasenke, Sensō, and the first generation of Ōhi, Chōzaemon.It is also a long history, reaching 360 years this year.
We have repeatedly held tea ceremonies on the tatami floor displaying their pedestal portraits, expressing gratitude for their enduring blessings.
My grandfather and father carried this on, and now I exist. I may not surpass them until I can see the difference between tradition and transmission.
