声帯ポリープの除去手術を受けて、ドクターは今日の講演で話せるようにプログラムを考えてくてはいたが、実は2日前から発声をはじめたばかり。
裏千家関東第三支部での夏季研修会での講演は2時間。それも玄室大宗匠が亡くなられて、裏千家では最初の行事かもしれない。故に感謝を込めて話をさせていただいた。
何とか話し終えた講演だが、まだ無理だったかな？今は喉を休めるとしよう。

After undergoing surgery to remove a vocal polyp, the doctor had planned a programme for me to speak at today’s lecture, but I actually only started vocalising two days ago.
The lecture at the summer workshop of the Urasenke Kanto Third Branch was two hours long. It may have been the first Urasenke event since the death of Grand Master Dr.Sen Genshitsu. Therefore, I spoke with gratitude.
I managed to finish the lecture, but was it still too much for me?Now I shall rest my throat.
