RIT副学長Jeremy Haefner博士夫妻来宅、アンドレイ L カラノRIT準教授、札野 順金沢工業大学教授が同行
ロチェスター工科大学（米国）は、私も教授を務める学校だ。
広大な敷地に科学、物理を中心に優れた卒業生を輩出している。
財政的にも余裕があるため、美術教育も高いレベルにある。
20年前には金沢工業大学との姉妹締結があり、同時にロチェスター工科大学の大学院生を我家の工房で受けいれる調印も行った。
その記念のために我家の茶室で両学長が濃茶を喫したことが懐かしく思い出される。
今日はその副学長であるジェレミー•ヘフナー博士夫妻の表敬を受けた。
数学者である博士は、とても工芸や茶道に関心があるようで大変喜んで頂いた。
我が最大の恩師であるリチャード•ハーシュ教授が陶芸科主任教授であるため、出会いは短い時間ではあったが、
博士と旧知の仲のようになれた。
そして、再会を誓った。

Rochester Institute of Technology (U.S.A.) is I as a professor.
It produces a superior graduate mainly on science,
physics on the very large site.There is the art education in a high level to have it to spare financially.
There was the sisters conclusion in Kanazawa Institute of Technology 20 years ago and performed the
sealing to accept the graduate student of this institution at the same time in a studio of my home.
Both presidents attending tea ceremony for the memory in a tea-ceremony room of my home.
I received the courtesy of Dr. and Mrs.Jeremy Hefner who were the vice president today.
The doctor who was a mathematician had I seemed to be interested craft arts and tea ceremony very much.
Because Professor Richard * Hirsch who was my greatest teacher was the ceramic art department chairman,
meeting him was a short it, but it was able to be like the relation between doctor and old friend.
And we promised a reencounter.
