2011/03/16 12:00記念茶会では縁の作家の作品でもてなされた
懇親会の場で紹介された審査員 於 ホテル日航金沢
50年の歴史を記念して金沢21世紀美術館で本展が開幕した。
しかし、東北関東大震災の被災で日本は大きな苦境に立つ中で開催は危ぶまれた。
実行委員である私は、この展覧会のために2年もの歳月を仲間の作家とともに費やしてきた。
展覧会の開催、全国から金沢へ集まる600人の懇親会、著名人を招いての公開シンポジウム、
など大切な行事が2日間の間に企画されていたのだ。この間、仲間も私も不休不眠の状態だった。
全国各地、追悼で次々にイベントが中止されていくなかで、我々が決めたことがあった。
「全国から集まる仲間が仲間を追悼し、先駆けて義援するのが本来の作家の姿である。」
結局予定の行事を参加者の心で催せた結果となった。
この展覧会は50年の歴史を積み重ねてきた。
現代工芸美術家協会が主催をして、文化勲章、文化功労者、日本芸術院会員、
東京藝術大学学長などを務める数々の作家を輩出してきた。被災地には我々の仲間が60人ほどいる。
手を取り合い生きていこうと思う。

All judges were introduced at dinner party at Kanazawa Nikko Hotel
This main exhibition began in commemoration of the history of 50 years, and it was held at
Kanazawa the 21st century Museum.
However, in Japan, the holding was anxious about by the suffering of the Northeast Kanto great
earthquake disaster while I rose in the difficult situation.I am one of the executive committee
menber and spent two years with other fellow friends for this exhibition.The important events such
as public symposiums, 600 social gatherings, dinner party,
celebrities who gathered from the whole country to Kanazawa were planned during two days.
Both friend and I were states of the nonstop operation sleeplessness the other day.
We had decided it while an event was canceled by each place of the whole country,
mourning in sequence.”A friend gathering from the whole country mourns for a friend,
and it is the figure of the original artists we lead it, and to do gien”.
It followed that we were able to hold a planned event for the heart of the participant after all.
This exhibition accumulated the history of 50 years.
Association of artist had acted as a Cultural Medal, persons of cultural merits,
member of the Japan Academy of Arts, Tokyo College of Art university president.
There are our approximately 60 friends in the stricken area.
We intend I take each other’s hands, and to live.
