1996年から始まったこの展覧会は、日米から100点を超える作品がニューヨーク日本クラブで展示されている。
審査員は、David McFadden氏（チーフキュレーター、アート＆ デザイン美術館）、
土居信一氏（元コンサベーター、メトロポリタン美術館）、Cora Rosevear氏（副キュレーター、MOMA）、
村瀬実恵子氏（元メトロポリタン美術館 東洋部特別顧問）そして私が審査委員長を務め7点の優秀作品が選ばれ、
夜は盛大なレセプションが催された。
The Nippon Gallery is hosted an exhibition of The 14th Annual US & Japan Ceramic Competition.
The exhibition will include over 100 works selected by preeminent judges of the competition.
The judges are including Mr. David McFadden, Chief Curator, Museum of Arts & Design;
Mr. Shinichi Doi, former conservator of The Metropolitan Museum of Art; Ms. Cora Rosevear,
Associate Curator of Museum of Modern Art; Professor Miyeko Murase,
former Special Consultant for Japanese Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art;
and I was a chief judge. It was also held awarding reception at NYC Nippon Club.
