十代大樋長左衞門と大樋年雄による「大樋焼十代（父）と次世代の歩み展が、ニューヨーク•ニッポンギャラリーで始った。

そしてその周辺は各国の政府関係者などが往来している。
そして、このニューヨークは現代アートの発祥の地といっても過言ではない。
当然のように日本の美術や工芸について造詣が深い人々もいる。会場を訪れた人々は、現代アートが日常にある彼らにとって、
十代から十一代へという父子の共演が、日本の工芸の心髄として逆に新しいものに見えているのかもしれない。
