秋元雄史・金沢21世紀美術館館長がキューレートした、日本の工芸を紹介する Future Forward Exhibition が始まった。
そして、選ばれたほとんどの出品作家、そして世界中からのコレクターも加わり、盛大にオープニングパーティーが催された。
Wendell Caslte氏の展覧会も同時に開催された。
彼は米国を代表する木工作家で、ロチェスター工科大学客員教授でもあり、旧知の間柄なのだ。
偶然とは、実は昔から決まっているのかもしれない。
Future Forward Exhibition where Akimoto Yuji (Kanazawa 21st Century Art Museum Director) organized at
New York Museum Art and Design.
And most of 12 selected artists gathered also Collectors from all over the world was attended for
this Opening Party.
Exhibition of Wendell Caslte held at the same time. He’s also Professor of Rochester Institution of technology.
So I know him over than 30 years.
It may be the one already decided actually that it’s coincidence from the past.
