日本交流基金が主催する35人の陶芸家によるこの展覧会は、世界各地を巡回しており、
現在、アトランタ近郊であるマソン・シャフェンスチン美術館（ジュージア州デモレスト市）で開催されている。
私の作品も招待出品されていることもあり、記念事業としてピドモント大学からの招聘によって講演・ワークショップをも行った。
今日、須永和男 在アトランタ日本国総領事、ジャイムス・メリチャンプ ピドモント大学学長などを迎え
オープニングレセプションが開かれた。
80名の講演・ワークショップの参加者も加わり、賑やかなものとなった。
また、金沢を訪れた人々との再会もあり、米国南部とはいえ、この地にも知人が多くいたことにも感動を覚えた。
私は挨拶の中で、金沢の文化、新幹線開通のことも触れたのだが、日本の陶芸は決して血統で繋がってきただけではなく、
技の伝播があったことによるものと説明をもさせて頂いた。

This exhibition by 35 ceramic artists by Japan foundation is making its around all over the world,
and is held at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art, Piedmont College which is Atlanta suburb.
Invitation was also exhibited in my work, and a lecture and a workshop were also performed by Piedmont
College as guest artist.
An opening reception attended Atlantan Japan Counsel General Mr. Kazuo Sunaga and President of Piedmont
College Dr. James Mellichamp.
80 participants of a lecture and a workshop were attended.
There is also reunion with the people who visited Kanazawa.
I had a chance to speak about Kanazawa’s culture, Shinkansen opening,
I also made the explanations assume that Japanese ceramics is because spread was decided and had been
tied by blood and skilled
