「2017金沢・世界工芸コンペティション」の最終審査と講評会が行われた。
審査員は、ロナルド・ラバコ氏(インディペンデント・キュレーター)
チョ・へヨン氏(2015清州国際工芸ビエンナーレ展示芸術監督・キュレーター)
唐沢昌宏氏(東京国立近代美術館 工芸課長)、大樋陶治斎(陶芸家、文化勲章受章者)、
中川衛氏(金工作家 重要無形文化財保持者)、
秋元雄史氏(東京藝術大学大学美術館館長、金沢21世紀美術館館長)の6名。
応募点数５６７点(国内４６２点、国外１０５点)の中から事前の一次審査、昨日の二次審査で１２８点が通過、
そして、大賞、優秀賞、各審査員特別賞、実に狭き8点が選ばれた。
私が司会を務めさせていただいた講評会は、国内外の審査員から様々な意見があり、
また、受賞者からのコメントもあり、意義ある場となった。
1989年から金沢から世界へ発信する工芸コンペや工芸会議を実行員として参画してきたが、
これからは、世界、アジア、日本の工芸の拠点が金沢となるよう皆で努力していかなければならない。

Ohi Toyasai (ceramic artist and Order of Cultural Merit awardee of the decoration),
Mr. Mamoru Nakagawa (goldsmith Craftmen Important intangible cultural asset holder)
and Yuji Akimoto (Tokyo university art museum director and Kanazawa art museum in the 21st century director).
From 567 application and to the first prize, an excellent prize, each judge special award it is only 8 works were chosen.
There were various opinions from abroad judges also comments from a winner.
The crafts competition and convention of arts and crafts from Kanazawa since 1989,
I have taken part in the planning as an executor, and the craft of the world,
Asia and Japan it should based at Kanazawa.
