第9回日展、私の出品作です。只今、会場の国立新美術館にいます。
コロラド、ロッキー山脈で見た東西に続く渓谷は、天界から降り注ぐ光によって様々な色を放っていた。
そこは、アメリカインディアンの故郷でもあり、まるで彼らの魂の声が聞こえたかのような心境だった。
大地が形成されたかのように、時に柔らかな土に火を与え生じた亀裂ある土をパズルのように組み合わせながら造形してみた。

This is my work at The 9th Japan Fine Arts Exhibition.I am staying at this exhibition.
The valleys that stretched from east to west in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado gave me various colors
due to the light pouring down from the heavens.
It was also the home of the American Indians, and I felt as if I could hear their souls.
As if the earth had been formed, I tried to shape it by combining cracked soil,
which was sometimes caused by giving fire to soft soil, like a puzzle.
