韓国の文化行政は手厚いと言われているが、清州市は 10 億円ほどの予算でこの工芸イベントを支えている。
清州市長にも面会したが、ユネスコクリエイティブシティの加盟を目指していて、金沢市をモデルとしているそうだ。
ゆえに私へは厚遇の招きだった。
ここでもたくさんの方々と絆ができた。
きっとまた訪れることだろう。

Korea’s cultural administration is said to be generous, and the city of Cheongju supports this craft event
with a budget of about 1 billion yen.
I also met with the mayor of Cheongju, who told me that the city is aiming to become a member
of UNESCO Creative City and is modeled after Kanazawa City.
Hence, he extended a warm invitation to me.
I made many friends here, and I am sure I will visit again.
