小野日子日本大使館公邸での夕食会に招かれた。
マドリード
日本大使館で山内弘志大使と面会、ロエベCEO・シーラ・ロエベスペイン現代工芸協会(SAO)メンバーと面会、日本人会幹部の方々と会食。
ミッションは、金沢市そして美術工芸を海外でさらに発展させること。微力だが私の使命と思っている。
Mission Tour of Italy and Spain
Venice
Visited the Venice Biennale; after viewing the “Homo Faber” exhibition, held a meeting with the Executive Director of the Michelangelo Foundation, which organized the exhibition.
Rome
Met with representatives of the Italian Association of Crafts;
was invited to a dinner party hosted by Hiko Ono at the Japanese Embassy residence.
Madrid
Met with Ambassador Hiroshi Yamauchi at the Japanese Embassy; met with Sheila Loewe, CEO of Loewe and a member of the Spanish Association of Contemporary Crafts (SAO); and had a dinner with executives of the Japanese Association.
The mission is to further promote Kanazawa City and its arts and crafts overseas. Though my contribution may be modest, I consider this my mission.
