宮崎市立ひなた中学校。全国でも少ない特別な夜間中学だ。年齢も様々で心の問題を抱えた生徒が通う学校だ。
そこで彼らと土や器について話し合いながら、実際に土に触れる授業を試みた。
帰り際、別れを惜しむ生徒がいたりして、皆の心を少しかもしれないが開けた気がする。
最年少の美術部門の日本藝術院会員として、微力であっても少しでも国
に貢献できればと思っている。
